Overview

Herzegovina is country of great diversity’s and interesting landscapes. History of Bosnia and Herzegovina was rich and turbulent. As soon as we pass Croatian border you will feel influence of history through mix of cultures and different religions in this area. First we will visit small medieval town Počitelj. Počitelj is typical example of well preserved urban architecture from ottoman Emipire time. From Počitelj we will continue our trip towards Mostar.

Mostar is cultural and capital center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. City symbol “Old Bridge” over Neretva river was built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. Bridge is dividing city into Muslim and Christian river side. Old bridge today is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks.
During our visit of Mostar you will have opportunity to taste Bosnian domestic food and drink cup of traditional black Coffee.

Suggested itinerary

8:30am - Guest pickup (hotel / apartment / other)

Pickup can be arranged anywhere in Dubrovnik Area including: Orašac, Župa Dubrovačka, Cavtat etc.

09:30am - Visit of Ston

After one hour of driving we will visit Ston. In the Ston we will make short city tour. Than we will drive through Neretva River valley and cross border in Metkovic town.

11:00pm - Crossing of Bosinia and Herzegovina border

After border crossing we will continue toward Pocitelj.

11:30pm - Visit of Pocitelj

Visit of typical ottoman architecture medieval town.

12:30pm - City Tour of Mostar

In the Mostar you will have city tour with local guide and free time for lunch, shopping …

15:30pm - Return from Mostar to Dubrovnik

Return to Dubrovnik, including short photo stops.

18:00pm - Arrive back in Dubrovnik
