Overview

Montenegro day tour will take you to the very southern point of Adriatic coastline. Located one hour drive from the city of Dubrovnik the Montenegro coast offers breathtaking natural beauty and interesting historical places. The bare mountains plunging into the dark water have caused it to be compared with a Norwegian fjord but it’s a fjord with Mediterranean flowers growing in the villages along the shoreline. We will visit Perast charming baroque city preceded by two jewel-like islands St George and Our Lady of the Rocks. As tour option we can visit famous island “Our Lady of the Rocks”. During our visit of Kotor you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of medieval walled town with your local guide.

On open sea side we will visit City of Budva. Budva is a coastal tourist resort in Montenegro often called “Montenegrin Miami” due to long sandy beaches and luxury yachts in marina. Here we will have time to explore charming small old town of Budva and take lunch in one of many seaside restaurants. From Budva, we will return to Dubrovnik in the afternoon, including a ferry drive across the Bay of Boka Kotorska.

Suggested itinerary

8:30am - Guest pickup (hotel / apartment / other)

Pickup can be arranged anywhere in Dubrovnik Area including: Orašac, Župa Dubrovačka, Cavtat etc.

09:30am - Crossing the Montenegro Border

After guest pickup we will make a short photo stop to enjoy scenic Dubrovnik Panorama. Than we will continue driving through Župa Dubrovačka and Konavle Region to Montenegro border.

10:00pm - Visit of small town Perast

During our drive through Boka Kotorska Bay we will visit small baroque town Perast. In Perast you will have opportunity to visit famous “Our Lady of the Rocks” island as tour option. After Perast we will continue driving through fjord to City of Kotor.

11:30pm - City tour of Kotor

In the Kotor you will have city tour with local guide and free time. After free time we will continue our way towards Budva.

13:30pm - Visit of Budva City

In Budva City we will do short tour of old town and you will have free time for lunch or shopping!

15:30pm - Drive back from Budva to Dubrovnik

Drive back to Dubrovnik, including a ferry drive across the Boka Kotorska Bay.

18:00pm - Arrive back in Dubrovnik

Arrive back in Dubrovnik to reminisce about your fun filled Montenegro day tour!
